 Community Food Pantry

  • In partnerships with the Windsor Essex County Food Bank Association (WEFBA), the CFP has been a vital aid for many residents since 2006.

How to Apply

  • Eligibility is based on net income of the persons or family and is available to all families who may be in financial need due to underemployment or unemployment
  • Clients must come into the office with proof of income and expenses (rent, water, hydro, gas) and complete an application to receive an appointment card to receive assistance
  • Food Pantry appointments are set for Tuesdays and Thursdays between 9:30 am – noon.

Community Food Pantry

• The Community Food Pantry is a member of the Windsor & Essex County Food Bank Association
• Community Food Pantry served over 1000 individuals last year

There are other programs offered through the Community Food Pantry :
• Coats for Kids: We accept winter coat donations from September to October. Distribution starts in November and continues throughout the winter season
• Fresh vegetables grown in our garden and private gardens for the food pantry are distributed to clients
• Some of our yearly fundraisers include: Polar Splash, the Peanut Butter Jam, the Charity Golf Tournament held in August and the Legion Indoor Tailgate Party
