Scheduler – Transportation Services
Working in Collaboration with the Program Coordinator of Transportation Services, the Scheduler of Transportation Services will perform an array of administrative duties. These duties include arranging transportation for clients in Windsor & Essex County to medical appointments, shopping and to various social activities and programs. Transportation is provided by a variety of entities working in collaboration to provide transportation to eligible service recipients using private cars, entity’s vehicles and public transportation.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree or equivalent work experience
- Ability to operate office equipment
- Minimum typing speed of 50 words per minute
- Computer, Word and Excel skills
- Experience with Novus and NesdaTrak software is an asset
- Police clearance
- Bilingualism an asset
Job Duties (include but not limited to)Experience with seniors and those with disabilities is a must.
• Evaluate technological supports
• Support day-to-day operations of CareLink and other transportation networks • Software implementation and maintenance
• Invoicing and money handling
• On call rotation participation
• Performance and aggregate data analysis
• Scheduling of transportation, vehicle maintenance etc.
• Support business continuity across collaborative for coordination of reporting of risks, critical incidents or other issues that may be experienced within the CareLink partnership that impact the system
Hours of Work: Thirty-five hours per week
Compensation: $18.66 to $21.45 per hour

Program Coordinator -Day Services(In-person & Virtual)
Summary
The Community Support Centre of Essex County works with clients and families to coordinate and provide convenient and professional services. The Program Coordinator – Day Services performs coordination and administrative duties for the Adult Day and Virtual Community Centre programs. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for developing and implementing social, health and recreational programs and activities for clients, engaging clients to participate in purposeful activities and providing one-on-one support when required.
Duties
- Develop and implement interesting and stimulating social, recreational, health promotion and educational activities
- Encourage program participants to attend the program through outreach (e.g. door knocking, phone calls, social media, etc.).
- Register/conduct intake on all program participants and provide a client information package
- Implement program evaluation to assess outcomes, strengths and weaknesses of the program, and client satisfaction
- Work collaboratively with volunteers and other community service providers to implement the program activities and support clients to access necessary programs and services
- Promote CSC programs and services as well as other health and community support services
- Collect, report and ensure confidentiality of all program statistics, client information and client notes
- Participate fully in team meetings and team-building opportunities
- Ensures all programs are meeting their prescribed benchmarks or reports difficulties in meeting st
Qualifications
- Knowledge of seniors issues and healthy aging and demonstrated success in reaching isolated individuals
- Diploma/degree in social services, or a minimum of two years direct experience in a community services environment working with clients
- Excellent knowledge of all Microsoft programs and skills for reporting and presentation purposes, and general office equipment knowledge
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated program planning and implementation experience
- Ability to lift a minimum of 20 lbs of program supplies (groceries, equipment/ supplies)
- Energetic personality and change champion
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
- Police clearance and a valid driver’s licence
- CPR/First Aid, Safe Food Handling
- Bilingualism (English/French), both written and oral, is an asset
Hours of Work: Thirty-five hours per week
Compensation: Hourly rate range from $24.66 to $28.34

Qualifications
- Current Ontario Driver’s Licence (C, F or B Class preferred)
- Clean drivers abstract
- Police clearance with vulnerable sector check
- Bilingual (English/French) is an asset
Summary
- Provides transportation to clients of the CSC in a safe and responsible manner
- Maintains the vehicle to ensure the safety of passengers and driver
- Cleans the vehicle regularly
- Collaborates effectively with other drivers
- Develops and maintains effective interpersonal relationships with colleagues and clients
- Deals with issues in a tactful and diplomatic manner
- Provides clients with a safe, comfortable, pleasant, and non-threatening environment
- Participates in necessary in-service training and orientation
- Works safely to reduce the risk of injury to self, clients and others
- Reports all actual or potentially hazardous situations
Experience
- Minimum of 9 years of general driving experience
- Empathy for and understanding of the needs of the elderly and individuals with disabilities
- Ability to relate to all levels of staff, the clients and their families, and other professionals with a high degree of patience and tolerance

FOOT CARE NURSE(S)

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct foot assessments and provide treatment for common foot ailments such as onychomycosis (tinea unguium), corn & callous treatments
- Knowledgeable of the effect of health issues such as diabetes, mellitus & arthritis on the patient’s ability to take care of their feet and nails
- Works within the Ethical Practice Framework of CSC
- Understand the range of services provided by each division of the CSC family and how it contributes to our model of client care
- Continually assess, anticipate, identify and respond to new and changing needs of clients and communicate with our Program Coordinator
Qualifications:
- Currently registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
- RPN with Advanced Foot Care Certification
- Prior experience in foot care (conducting assessments and treatments of common foot conditions chronic diseases)
- Ability to effectively manage time and priorities
- Ability to use the CSC’s online scheduling assistant – which requires access to mobile data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluency in a second language is an asset
- Willingness to travel to multiple locations and work flexible hours
